Renée Ridgway is a post-doc and PI of the research project ‘Knowledge Infrastructures of Searching,’ located at SHAPE (Shaping Digital Citizenship) Centre, Digital Design and Information Studies and BTECH, Aarhus University, DK. Situated at the interstices of feminist STS, environmental media, critical data/AI/infrastructure studies and (post)digital cultures, her research addresses the ethics of technology and the politics of Google search, its alternatives (federated EU-funded public index, FOSS/open source software for search), along with the so-called future of search (chatbots).
