Christine Plote

Christine Plote is a founding member of the Open Search Foundation (OSF) and moderates its Ethics Working Group. She played a key role in establishing the non-profit organisation and led the #EthicsInSearch project. Until she stepped down in early 2025, she was responsible for OSF’s communications and the communication of its projects. She was also a member of the OSF Board of Directors from 2021 to 2024. A communications expert with a background in economics, she runs a communications agency in Starnberg near Munich, specialising in science communication for publicly funded projects.
